"positions of power" He said it honestly it's all about the power not the security bullshits whatsoever. It's all about the American fear of losing power to China.

AnonD-596533, 14 Feb 2018http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/politics/former-nortel-exec-warns-against-working-with-huawei-1.1137006A former Nortel exec blaming another company??? LMAO!!!!

Nortel failed because they were a failure. They never adapted past the 1980's while the rest of the industry left them behind. The only thing Huawei could have learned about was pre-historic telecom systems IF they bothered hacking Nortel. and even then it would be lessons on what NOT to do.

So in other words, "we have no proof of them doing anything, but you shouldn't buy their stuff, because we don't like them".

Any ideological constraints on the economy is bad; the Soviet Union found out the hard way, is the US going to next? Or is this simply a case of the American telecom lobby paying off the right people?

Hello #Huawei and #ZTE....
You must seriously make a deal with carriers containing such points that "No phone would be sold to any of key person belongs to govt. Department, nor to any security department employee and neither to one who whatsoever related to the said bodies by any means... Rest of all common people can buy and enjoy their natural freedom.....

Ooh the hypocrisy. In that case Canada should ban Google, BLU and Apple phones. India too.

What power will they gain? Huawei and ZTE sells phones with carriers in Canada all the time. And what happened? Nothing! If anything, we have faster speeds than the US and a very high percentage of access to LTE.
