I would not buy any new iphone until the price of OLED phones from APPLE comes BELOW $800. I am happy with my 3 year old iphone 6S plus. Com'n apple listen to your customer and current competition.

So the rumor that the new SE will be a 6+ inch phone! That would be dumb on Apple's part, if true, since the small size was the main reason the SE was popular.

So, Apples' revenue will $70b out of a single model in a single year...
I don't know the net profit out of this, but it's gotta be around $45-50b
So... Apple fans... give your self a par on the back as you gave rise to a ruthless drug lord manipulating you with iPhone-opium! :D :D
Seriously though, my concern is that other manufacturers are riding the same price hike train. And soon enough, $1000 to $1500 will the norm for flagship phones.
That is not OK, especially that this will not necessarily bring anything new to the table except healthier profit margins since flagships were priced at $500-600 couple of years ago.
We're already seeing "mid-rangers" in the $600... very scary!
