This was definitely a great phone for its time. Definitely a huge step up from the Nexus 6 and Nexus 6P in terms of hardware (software was on-parity).
However, I found the VR functions mostly a gimmick. Wish they downgraded to a 1080p display to get even better battery life. And didn't have a border around the screen to have a smaller footprint. The aluminium was quite sturdy, but I found the sides way too slippery with the slightest moisture on your hands. Overall a 9/10 for this, and they're still relevant in early 2018 (but probably obsolete by 2019).
Better late than never, I guess.
Clean updates >>>>>> Fast updates, though both clean and fast is never a bad thing.
bleony, 14 Feb 2018Any News about Oreo for Axon 7 Mini?I'm interested to know that too! Had to manually update to 7.1.1 because OTA update was taking forever and never got it even after waiting for months! I'm from Finland so that was probably the reason. ZTE really cares about US and after that comes everything else :/
