It looks a classic European design. Tasteful, elegant accents give it personality and style. Too big for me but looks stunning.
AxlTech, 16 Feb 2018Is that an under-screen mounted fingerprint? No, that's just the type of unlocking you've set up

It only brings downsides in usability.
Not sure why you're saying the Nokia 6 is your first and last phone from HMD if you don't buy the Nokia 7 Plus though. If you were interested in the Nokia 7 Plus, clearly you didn't hate the product you got in the Nokia 6.

Might as well stick to my Nokia 6 (2017) as my first and last phone from HMD Global.
My potential replacement for my Xiaomi Mi A1. Before I was thinking of a Nokia-branded Nexus device. This might be it.
that sim card name 'namaste' is from nepal ...and its strange that nepal has neither factory nor anything related with nokia

AxlTech, 16 Feb 2018Is that an under-screen mounted fingerprint?Sir/Madam, you may clearly see a back mounted scanner under the camera.
Is that an under-screen mounted fingerprint?

Never be afraid of asking questions
No such thing as a stupid question
In short, yes android lets u do a lot unrooted but you can do even more rooted, like custom roms, additional features not available out of the box, etc. However, some apps wont run if rooted, such as banking apps and here in the UK, SKY TV
If that phone comes out with white color version but at both sides back and front that phone gonna be one of the most beautiful phone ever.
ZloiYuri, 16 Feb 2018Try to use on-screen keyboard first. Then write nonsenses. 16:9 screens are filled by 2/3 by b... moreSpeaking of writing nonsense, there you are!
Even with an address bars, on-screen buttons and a keyboard, you have 45 % of the screen free: https://i.imgur.com/LQmQVFy.png
As usual, you either lie or make things up to have an argument.
Now what were you saying about thinking before talking? You should follow your own advice here.
Furthermore, you can hide the on-screen buttons. So tell me, why do you need more than 45-52 % of the screen free when you're using the keyboard and search bar to type in a web page?
Meanwhile, I can tell you why you need 100 % of the screen when watching videos; If you don't have the same aspect ratio as the media you're watching, you get pillarboxing, which is wasting precious screen space. And everything suitable for smartphones is in a 16:9 format. YouTube is 16:9. TV and TV-series are 16:9. Vimeo is 16:9. Twitch streams at 16:9.
So when texting you have a smaller keyboard. When browsing you waste a ton of screen space on areas you're not even looking at. When watching videos you get pillarboxing. It's a useless aspect ratio.
So, ZloiYuri; Think first. Then* talk.

Well if it's Android One then it must not have the usual Nokia's blue UI then.
Anonymous, 16 Feb 2018If you dont know rooting and all then dont comment about thatSuch ignorance. There are literally millions of smartphone users that get by without rooting their phones properly. Nokia seems to provide timely software and security updates without bloatware. That's much better than what most OEMs provide and the necessity to root.
AnonD-77443, 16 Feb 2018Originally i wasn't a fan of 18:9... however, there are 2 things i really like about it now.
... more1) All while having less room to read what you're typing a response to, or seeing your own text. Besides, most people text in vertical mode, which gives you EVEN LESS room for the keyboard in the 2:1 aspect.
2) Which is honestly a rather pointless feature on a small 6" display. Not only is it symptomatic of attention deficits, it's also giving anything you "watch" a tiny 3" screen in the 16:9 format, with some serious letterboxing.
I genuinely can't think of a single valid argument for going with 2:1.
Anonymous, 16 Feb 2018If you dont know rooting and all then dont comment about thatBut I want to know the big deal of rooting. You guys sound like it's mandatory or a "rite of passage" for Android users to root their phones. I remembered rooting being like the Android version for Apple's Jailbreak but Android seems already free.

The Nokia Devices division went under because they missed the smartphone revolution, stayed with Symbian OS for too long, and set the final nail in their own coffin by going with Windows Phone instead of a well-established OS like Android.
