China places much, much more restrictions on foreign companies, including blocking services like Twitter, Google and Facebook. There was a specific security concern in the case of Huawei. Otherwise the US imports a lot more from China than it exports there.
Also, it was Apple that forced their Chinese manufacturing partners to increase wages, improve working conditions and ban underage workers. Manufacturing is getting automated rapidly, anyway, so unskilled labor is fast becoming obsolete.

In my country phones like G6, S8 and XZ Premium were released for same price. Initial price was 4000,00 in our money. It would be about $1200 months ago.
XZ1 was 10% cheaper, while S8+ and Note 8 were 10% more than these 3 devices.
Iphone X 256GB here in many stores was close to 8000, which transleted to $2200 few months ago.
Many ppl still buy iphone 5s, 6 and 6s because the newer are too expensive.

Most of Chinese vendors are not ready to do mobile phone business in USA. They should build national-wide supply chain, extensive service and support network, effective and appealing advertisement and promotion arms. They take quite a time and money to build. Chinese vendors are not ready for prime time yet.

it's so funny to see i sheep thinking it's fantastic that Apple are making ENORMOUS money like this. basically you are saying it's really cool that they make phones with tech in them including screens with lower resolution.. mostly still lcd (apart from it's crazy £1000 iPhone X screen).. old ram speed.. basically cheap internals apart from a good CPU.. and sell it at extortionate price and people are lapping it up.. you couldn't make it up. it's the same phone the last 10 years practically. ios can still run on 5 year old hardware.. tells you everything really.
average price Samsung phone.. $254.. average Apple phone..$800
hilarious. people love wasting money. you get the same experience.. sometimes BETTER with other phones.. yet the brand that seems cool because it's the most expensive.. has people going mad for it. funny

The US Gov't ban on Chinese phone vendor applies only to Huawei and ZTE. These two Chinese vendors are considered as state-run company of Chinese government. These two vendors are denied to have supply deal of mobile phone and equipment with US wireless carrier like Verizon Wireless, T-mobile, AT&T etc. But they are free to sell their phone through other US retail stores like Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, etc. Only government employees are advised to stay away from buying phone by these two vendors. Other Chinese vendors like Xioami, Oppo, Vivo or Renovo (Motorola), Meizu etc. are free to sell their phone in US and may have phone supply deal freely with any US wireless carriers.

And Apple easily could move their production to States and still have very good profit, not like now of course but still business would be good (Apple has highest profit from phones in the world). But of course everyone wants big dollars, that's why using chinese people. Btw China will not refuse making iPhones because it makes a lot of people in China rich (not the factory workers)

Remember numbers few year back when Apple and Samsung took 95 percent profit, Chinese are really kicking in now and at last starts to make serious money from it

he will NEVER allow chinese companies to enter the USA markets no matter what.
And show me a Huawei Shop within the USA borders. No thats niot possible and buying on eaby isnt an option because when your phone breaks you will wait endless times to finnish your complains. Also sending the device abroad for repair is very costly.

Well Trump and USA congress wont allow chinese brands like Huawei Meizu Xiaomi to be sold within the borders of USA. So citizens of USA have no other choice just to buy Iphone.
If Countries other than USA wont allow apple to be sold within their borders Apple can close its bussiness in like one or maybe 2 years. If China stops making apple phones and other apple devices and Apple will be forced to make his phones within the borders of USA they can close next day.
If USA assembler receives 10 dollars per hour even an Iphone 4 will cost more than current Apple X. And the Apple X will have a price tag of brand New Aston Martin.
Thats my Opinion.
But Chinese people are in lack of work due to over-population so all above is like not possible at the moment. Apple should be really happy that the national minimum wages they offer to chinese assemblers is low enough they can make apple X at raw manufacturing costs like for 200 eur and sells it without even a tiny shame for 1500.
But who i am I to judge. Its just my opinion. Forests and animals dying but human stupidity or better to say lack of knowledge is endless.

Innovation is great but in case of apple very costly.

So much for Apple failing in 2017.
Take hint android makers. I will forever use android but I'm so much dissapoiunted by the lack of innovation in the space. Apple constantly moves things forwards, with yearly 30-40% gains on both cpu and gpu , with constantly adding (non half made) hardware features (3d touch 2 years ago, face id lately).
It's for those that she is being rewarded and not from the alleged "distortion field" alone.
There was a time that Samsung was posting yearly 30-40% increases on both cpu and gpu, that was adding well made features and not afterthoughts (pen, removable batteries). Other companies were trying their hand too.
Nowadays it's mostly Apple and depresses me because iOS is a literal jail and I will never buy into it, but it is not as if androids are trying to stand out anymore either. The whole market is depressing there.
