It sucks that they still have to use the Snapdragon version alongside the Exynos version. I though Samsung could already include the CDMA modem in a cheaper chip? I wonder why not in this one. The performance difference is just too much these days, as the US will not get the full product with how much slower the 845 is imho.

WickedWilly, 20 Feb 2018Why is it then that in tests that load lots of apps into memory and go back through them, to c... moreNothing is struggling I can a sure you that. You answer your own question. Android has more ram, so can keep more application in memory without reloading. IPhone needs to refresh mire frequently if you have a lot of apps open which eats memory. But it has nothing to do with chipset speed I am afraid. A11 is unbeatable for any Android chipset in gaming, encoding/watching HD videos processing photos, browsing and so on these task requires intensive CPU and GPU work and A11 destroys competition, he'll even A10 is unreachable for android world in single core performance and has close to 835 or exynos 8895 multicore speeds, so we talking about huge gap between apple chipsets and rest of the world, until now of course, thanks to exynos 9810.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 20 Feb 2018Don't worry fam, they have been doing this for years already Yes, but they have been lowering the power on the Exynos, globally, so that the Snapdragon doesn't look too bad.

And you try and make it sound as if the you sucks or didn't upgrade at all in exynos. And neglect the important of cpu performance in such scenarios.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2018So you say that android on xzp is better optimised than ios on iphone x?What it says it has more RAM at it makes difference. That's why one Plus 5 or 5t has advantage in opening apps quicker when they are in memory, that's called memory optimisation/management and nothing to do with chipset speed

Amazing CPU performance jump, but what about GPU?
I dont think that you will see difference in daily using (browser, apps and other simple things). Snapdragon 845 GPU will be 50% more powerful than SD 835. Near 800 Gflops, amazin. What we can see that new games come more and more demanding, specially chinese ones. Snapdragon still dominate in GPU performance and i dont think that Exynos can beat him.

I'm quite disappointed no one mentioned exynos bad reception issue before. Just got my first exynos very disappointed with it. Benchmarks just dont tell you the full story anymore or maybe cpus are fast enough it doesn't matter anymore kinda like people saying iphone 8 feels the same as iphone 7 performance.
