To help people realise how big of a deal this is, below I have listed the geekbench single-core score of the SD 8++ compared to the Exynos chipsets. (Which I obtained by browsing the web for 5 minutes)

          SD 820 = 1500+
          SD 835 = 1900+
          SD 845 = 2400+

          Exynos 8890 = 1800+
          Exynos 8895 = 2100+
          Exynos 9810 = 3700+

Based on the reports, the single core score of the upcoming Exynos 9810 is almost double (100% increase) that of the Exynos 8895. While the single-core scores of the upcoming SD 845 is only a 25% increase from the SD 835.

Of course, this is just a rumor, and these high geekbench scores aren't necessarily translate in good performance in real life. But, it does shows how far ahead Samsung has gotten with their chipset as compared to Qualcomm. And the Exynos version are said to be more power efficient too, so that's a bonus.

Love how the brainless 3 year olds come out to play when samsung actually does something right the way it has been doing the past couple of years. Which is more than anyone can say about their beloved yet irrelevant lgs and sonys. It's amazing how dense people can be. Their parents must be so proud. Disgusting lot.

Doesn't matter if you have 4 or 6 GB of RAM. If the frequency is low, apps will take longer to load into memory. Moreover, apps need to be loaded from somewhere and that's storage. If storage speed is low, doesn't matter if you have fast RAM, the loading time will be longer. The processor just send the instructions needed for the operation. That is the reason why phones with little RAM or storage becomes slow and sluggish, regardless of how powerful it is.

The truth is benchmarks do not matter as much for jobs normally carried out on phones. The amount of RAM, speed of storage and RAM for example are as important if not more.
