There Are enough phones that have 2GB of memory or more in the market!

Or more simply you press "call" and wait like 3 seconds to open up that app!! Anf for basic stuff like calling anf texting a feature phone is enough but smartphone no matter what should be able handle at least two apps at the time without crashing or freezing otherwise is useless and cant be called a smartphone

I have backup phone runn... moreIt is not mean for hard use like using messenger... or multitasking. Buy more powerfull phone if you want to multitask or use more demanding programs. These 1Gb or less... Are for makin calls, sending text messages and maybe even reading email.
They cut all corners that Rice the price and still make a phone that can be used to make phone calls. Less than 99$ device is not the same as 250$ device or 1000$ device.
I am sure that we see 512Mb devices Also and the 1 Gb is not the minimum!

2GB RAM should be a minimum for any android phone in 2018! By law!!!
I have backup phone running marshmallow with 1GB of RAM and it's unbelievable slow! You can hardly run facebook or messenger lite. And if happen that you are using facebook and you receive a call, it just freeze or crash it's rubbish

It fast enough to all those ordinary things that you do with a phone!
If you want to play games. Buy 800$ phone...
