No 3.5 mm headphone jack = no buy! Are Sony... removing essential features so that they in a few years can bring them back again because they no longer can come up with any real new features so they need to make it possible to reinvent old features?
Sony needs to be better, have more features, than Samsung and Apple... if they want to be successful!

Finaly Sony got rid of that iugly jack hole.
But still retains its price.
Mi7 cut SD card Slot, Jack, Oled instead of Amoled and lot of other things and their flagship is going on sale for 350 eur.
Sony cut just Jack but price is same.

Oh oh, so finally are they going to release a bathtub of £706, €799, $987 without audio jack and a vulgar fingerprint sensor on the back? Someone at Sony wish end sinking their business. Can't wait to see the result and what was the last minute change in design but with that shape and rear fingerprint it's not for me.

Its very sad days when companies started to remove 3.5mm , people suddenly changes their mind and slowly dont care about them anymore. 3.5mm jack youll be missed (until Samsumg, LG, and thr others that do ditch it.)

2:1 5" screen is the same width as 16:9 4.6" screen of the current one but it's a bit taller.
I wish they went with 16:10 screen instead to give it more width but keep the height the same.

What it should be;
XZ2 compact
= 5 inch screen 18:9 ratio, same as 4.6 inch 16:9, 4gb ram, 64gb internal, 720p - $650
XZ2
= 5.7 inch screen 18:9 ratio, same as 5.2 inch 16:9, 6gb ram, 128gb internal, 1080p - $750
XZ Pro
= 6.0 inch screen 18:9 ratio, same as 5.5 inch 16:9, 8gb ram, 128gb internal, 4k - $850
That way sony can sell better, not put XZ2 alone price at $1000 mark. Nonsense. About removing 3.5mm jack or not, I dont care anymore as nowadays there are many good quality cheap bluetooth earphone/headphone everywhere. They better be a game changer in camera department so it has some speciality. U can do it sony.

If these is the real future decision of sony(no 3.5 mm, weirded aspect ratio...) Then in few years sony will vanish from mobile industry as going on with HTC... I think this was the best time where 3.5mm vanishing sony would have come with walkman series with audiophile quality. As sony was the founder of 3.5mm jack it will be shameful if they only discontinue it...
