get your fact please... more First of all jerk. It was a stupid auto correction. It said cpu until I hit space.
Second of all it wouldn't have needed to be said if you weren't here clearly having a opinion of superiority that you were trying to push.
Third of all there was a number of exynos generations that indeed had a superior gpu. S1, s2, note2 had better gpus. Note 4 and s6 had better gpus by sustained performance.
And the s8 trades a lot of good blows with its gpu.
With S1 exynos "hummingbird" I think snapdragon actually had the slightly better cpu side. The rest exynos was better in cpu.
But in all generations except S2 audio had also been far superior. Note 2 still has better audio than snapdragon 835.
And most of them are more efficient too.
So.... get your fact please.... don't talk empty

IdealMan, 22 Feb 2018Can anyone compare the Pro and Con of 5G effect in daily life ? Can't imagine there is any cons, 5G will just be next generation of the cellular network (signals and masts to power your phone call / internet usage). Only real con would be if it's not available in your area, usually each network generation has helped add features like texts, video, internet etc. but lately it's just faster speed and reliability for the most part.

Qualcomm are done with Samsung and their Exynos chipsets. For the next year the Exynos 5G will come with 30 or 40% of increase of performance. Now Exynos is the king of Android in performance.

Love the Community, 22 Feb 2018No, my point is that the new 7nm Snapdragon or Exynos should perform faster than A11 and A12 w... moreEUV is hard and expensive. it's development has undergone well over two decades. besides, the 10% performance improvement are when compared with only dieshrink, no architectural optimization or whatsoever.
comparing to A11, an SD835 actually beat it in sustained performance, meaning it'll keep the performance when you use it even after 1 hour use of gaming. A11 in gaming will throttled down and the high cores will be useless due to using too much voltage.
Meltdown and Spectre fixes doesn't need to be that extraordinary. a simple microcode can fix the flaw, granted you'll probably lose performance, but only by a few percent. an architectural redesign isn't the only fixes available. we do not know if the problem is within the silicon, or microcode, or maybe the kernel.

Plus, as per some intellectual on Twitter, the only way to fix Meltdown and Spectre is a new architecture.
With the new architecture, DynamIQ phasing out that cruddy and childish naming, big.Little (from Big Little Planet), it's going to be fixed.

Company grabs money and after several months they will said its not possible.
And even if it will be possible it will cost so much that all will loose interest.
Like LG with their 8K display.
First TV will cost like 20 000 eur and maybe 37 inch screen.
Or like Predator X21 from Asus first notebook with curved screen. Also cost 11 000 eur basic version.
