Tablet sales has been in declines because you rarely see any flagship tablet with premium specs being released anymore. It's always mid-range specs. Why would anyone upgrade their tablet if their 5.5 inch phone have better specs?
What I want is a 10 inch tablet, snapdragon 835, 4 gb ram, 2 speakers up front, a beefy 9000mah battery and a minimum of 1080p resolution. Forget about creating a thin tablet. This will be a workhorse tablet. Something you can actually run all day to replace your laptop. A beefy cpu and huge battery, put a gamepad on it and you can market it as a serious gaming tablet. I'm hoping the tab S4 comes with a bigger battery this time.

There is simply no use of tablet if one can't do 'more' on tablet. Also, we are seeing more and more 2 in 1 ultrabooks, I don't see a reason why manufacturers are staying away from making stylus for tablets.

Unless the video you're watching happens to match your tablets ratio exactly, there's always black bars. It's a complete non issue, especially on Amoled displays.

Ham. read the article please. line 4 in the article SPECIFICALLY mentions 4 GB of RAM. (I know we're supposed to take it with a pinch of salt. but I find that quite legit) the memory expandability is nearly mandatory in tablets of android. (There are very few ANDROID tablets that offer no expandable memory. 10% of the tablets if my memory is not mistaken) and since the resolution is FWQHD (1600x2560) I assume we'll get a 960 or 970.

(perhaps even this year phones will kiss two digits RAM amount. but we can't be sure) but the reality is that no tablet. (sans Windows obviously) has over 4 GB of ram.
