It looks ugly and has a SD630 so I am getting something else. Most probably the Redmi Note 5 Pro Black which has a SD 636.

Motorola must put a competitive price for this, like Lenovo did with the K6 Note, or companies like Xiaomi or Huawei will eat it alive.

But for most people, futureproofing is just a theory, because OEMs will flood the media with advertising to brainwash people into buying a new phone every year.

YoloBS, 23 Feb 2018I dont get 5.7 and only 3000mah!What I dont get is people complaining about a 3000mAh battery with a power-efficient chipset. Then Energizer comes along with a 16000mAh phone. This should please people, but now they complain because it has a Mediatek chipset. The bottom line is people like to spot flaws on things. They are never satisfied.

                          Motorola using a 2016 SOC on a 2018 device
Ahaha that's laughable since the snapdragon 625 is the equivalent of a snapdragon 800 that was unveiled in december 2012 and launched in january 2013.
So yeah, my old all dusty Nexus 5 that i don't use anymore which cost me 320Euro has pratically the same horsepower than this device that launches in 2018.
The 625 has some pros ofc, more optimized since manufactered at 14nm, less heat while operating and has 8 cores for better battery consumption.
But it's expected since it's almost 4 years newer.
What i mean is, it's better to pay a bit more and have something future proof. than buying a device every 2 years.
This year i went with the onelpus 5T after breaking apart from my nexus 5. And i still love the nexus 5, but i wanted something newer and faster. The money i saved from these 4 years made me buy a oneplus 5T.
Which means i only buy bargain priced flagship devices and i'm totally fine with it

So moto is not making a future proof device.

raonaveen, 23 Feb 2018Why motorola keep using 32 bit android on 64 bit devices. It is not futureproof. You shouldn't be asking this question to Motorola or any smartphone makers, as they don't own or develop Android base OS. Isn't it?

Also, I think it is prime important for hardware to be 64-bit architecture, software be making less impact if it is 32-bit or 64-bit make.
