If it is flat you will fussy again, if it bring back 3.5mm you also giving negative comments from another point. So you can't have your perfect phone or dream phone, so use just only regular phone and don't waste your time here.

Xperia XZ2 Compact is water resistant. You should not put the device completely underwater. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty.
                      https://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/phones/xperia-xz2-compact/specifications/

Water resistant is level 5. Putting it completely underwater is a condition of level 7. And it clearly says you cannot use it in that condition. Putting it under level 7 condition will void your warranty.

Once again IP68 already includes IP65. But not here. IP68 next to IP65 is a just a marketing gimmick.

Xperia XZ2 Compact is water resistant and protected against dust, so don’t worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under the faucet water, but remember all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed. You should not put the device completely underwater; or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water, or liquids such as drinks. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty. The device has been tested under Ingress Protection rating IP65/68.
