I think it should adopt 16:9 ratio and will look cutie. XZ2 compact much cute with 18:9 ratio. Anyway it a whole new we can recognize but the dual front firing stereo speakers is an excellent improvement!

sweaf, 27 Feb 2018I have. Not a fan of the contrast ratio. Amoled's pure black is just what makes it the best.Oled also lost the gradient and the dark details because it push the contrast too higher to lost the details.

regs, 27 Feb 2018Indeed Sony devices needs JOLED. IPS, especially the way Sony use it is very dated.A 4K HDR IPS display is way better. The thinner Oled is less Durable from inside to outside because the Oled display place without the gaps closest to the top of the screen.

Remember years ago, that the camera flash was removed from nearly all flagships (including Sony), but next years flagship models from all brands returned the camera flash. (7/8/9 years ago)

I see the only Compact smartphone with hdr screen just released, using lcd.
I also see a complete screen fp scanner in near future, using lcd.
Also flexible lcd, and 120 hz mobile screens developed from JDI.
And add the 600-800 ppi small 3,6 inch lcd screens for VR.
In TV area incoming 10000 nits complete hdr spectrum lcds incoming.
Only thing oled has over lcd innovations and capabilities is cutout abilities. But oled looks outdated as we see what is coming from lcd screen tech, especially mobile.

Amoled's pure black is just what makes it the best.Trust me man...it has the deep blacks... i ditched the XZ1 for the galaxy s7 edge... i dont think i picked a bad phone and i rly am a Samsung fan but the burn in has started to show up and it's a really big let down just after 1 year and a half of use...only for that reason i prefer lcd-s like the xperias display or razr-s with those 120hz refresh rates... amoled burn in issues should be fixed before saying it is the best display on market
