mobilefreak, 09 Aug 2011Since the release of the N9 was postponed, i think nokia should focus on trying android os on ... moreforget it. Nokia will never use android on their phones as they can't use their maps service on it.

Sun Down, 09 Aug 2011Not really, in fact I think it's the right thing to do. Look at Sony Ericcson, they got swampe... moreSE still sells more Droid per quarter (around 5 mil) than all other manufacturers Windows based handsets (less than 1.5 mil last quarter). And if earthquake in Japan hadn't happened I think they would have been in black right now (thats what they said). 2nd half of 2011 should be better for them.

Its good that nokia is working on its wondows phone.WP mango is damn good...than any other OS out there...WP7 mango is the future... its buttery smooth and perfect with XBOX gaming integrated i think its going to eat much major chunk of Android and ios.

I'm very happy that Nokia is not just doing the same as everybody else.

for those people who comment about android on a non-android thread/topic, you are the ones who are CHEAP!

Just so you know, a Nokia running on Android will never happen because android is very low on customer security/privacy.

if any of you wants Android, go ahead and buy it! There is a billion "one of a kind" Android phones on a market! Be same as everyone else.
What I think Nokia should do... Cut some heads down! Someone must be guilty for this situation! Break a deal with Microsoft and kepp developing Symbian. You could make it perfect! Don't kill only OS in wich we have to use brain to use it, just make it better. :)

The hardware... moreNot really, in fact I think it's the right thing to do. Look at Sony Ericcson, they got swamped amongst the Droids. Nokia and SE should've led the WP7 front.

z, 09 Aug 2011not bad looking, too bad it's not android.Honestly, why do I get the feeling that it's like Android users are trying to preach Android to Nokia. I think it's a good thing they took the WP7 path, the other companies aren't much promoting it in other countries, so at least Nokia will take a shot at it.
