But each and every year the plus model *is* tne note model without the pen.
If anything the note model has ended up being a moneygrab lately. No differentiation to S series, no real pro capabilities (it's like any otber flagship, often less so).
So it's natural to have the same price as the note model (the plus model I mean). What is not is the non inclusion of the pen, forcing fans to wait another 4-5 months and having to pay as much despite the wait. Pretty much "punishing" the lovers of pens on phones.

A lot of people who have flagship phones get their phones from contracts and upgrades so this will not affect them much.

I read on phonearena.com that the W2019 will come equipped a Snapdragon 845. The shown chart was sourced from weibo.com, and listed 7 model total models. That doesn't mean more than 7 won't surface, or that weib.com is the ultimate authority on this matter.

I was going to say that I felt Samsung buyers are laid back, but I have a pessimistic, wanna be know it uncle (whom, despite all that I love) who owns a Galaxy S model, who is not laid back. Yet, at least some are laid back. Overall, I've met friendly Samsung owners for the record.

I bet that U. State's bound models will be amongst the cheapest in the world. So, anyone looking to get one of these ought to consider buying one from a U. States retailer, be it online or otherwise. Food for thought everybody. :-) .

With a quick search you can find iPhone X prices on Apple stores. 64GB model costs from 1149 to 1189 euros on Germany, Italy, Spain and France and 256GB costs 1319-1359 euros.
This could be enough to be end of the story, but it isn't. On those 4 countries iPhone 8 Plus costs 110 euros uniformly more than smaller models. So if Apple had an iPhone X Plus, most probably it would cost 110 euro more AT LEAST. I'm saying at least because ever since the sources generally explained iPhone X's higher prices with the cost of AMOLED screens, so it could cost even more to the end users.
Also keep in mind iPhone X's screens are smaller than the S8's in fact. I won't even go there.
Another thing is assuming those are official launch prices, we can assume that that S9 duo prices even will be lower in time. Note 8 launch price was 999 euros and now it's between 840-900. Not counting grey market prices. Not MicroSD slot and Dual SIM features. Not counting PLANNED OBSELESCENCE of the iPhones under the disguise of SUPPORT.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying those prices are cheap, you can't seriously think it's expensive like iPhone prices. There is a reason Apple got most of profits on smartphone market despite it's relatively small marketshare.
Judging by how close the prices of a grey market Note8 and OnePlus 5T in my country, my next phone might be an S9+, granted a reasonably priced grey market product will be available.

As if it wasn't already overpriced... Samsung & Apple are two of the greediest companies out there. Thank goodness there are other brands with more sensible pricing.

this prices will reduce the selling of android. people will buy iPhone instead of s9/s9+.
Samsung does not provide timely update. Their apps are duplicate and cheap. Even they fail to deliver timely security update.

But by facts... Not necessarily by knowledge of the user.. they tend to be somewhat more accurate by default because of Samsung's technology.
And for their lead it generates more hate and jealousy towards them.
Especially with Sony users it seems lol
