They just did not want to use FULL HD last... moreI think the exynos was able to last year but Samsung didn't do it cos of their SD version. But what is strange is i think the 845 can't do it too so why would Samsung let the Exynos version have it this year. We'll find out tmr.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2018Sony will be sad. If it's 1080p at 960fps then they will be even sadder. It is said that the XZ2 will have Super Slow Motion at 1080p resolution and I think it will be the case since it is one of the most enjoyed feature on the Sony phones released las year, it would just be an improvement.

XZ2 can do 960fps at FULL HD.
Imx400 can do it.
They just did not want to use FULL HD last year.
Sensor was able to record 4K@60 too. But cpu limited it..

What I can see is that finally an other manufacter is bringing Super Slow motion to their smartphones.
I don't know what could justify the increased price, it's basically an S8 with upgraded components and a new camera!

Lets hope sales will decline. From what I read i will be definitely waiting for Note10. If my 7edge didnt damage there was definitely no need to upgrade to Note8. And that extends to the 9 series. So we are they hiking prices that much!?

Don't buy them at such ridiculous prices! Let Samsung learn the hard lesson that iPhone-esque pricing does not sit well with its customers. First the A8 and A8+ and now this. I've supported Samsung for very long but I don't condone ridiculous pricing.

Wow, that is not cheap. Any comparisons on the W2018 available? Eager to see what to expect. I get my phones on contract, but this does not bode well for a decent monthly price.
