We just need ONE good camera with big(ger) pixels, OIS and a proper flash! And for god's sake, ditch the crappy plastic phone lenses!
I wouldn't even care if there's no front camera at all, just make the rear camera awesome instead!

People complaints about 18:9 being not comfortable yet for many things.
And here, 16:9 Sirocco with slim bezel is still being complained.
And in case you missed out, the sirocco comes with 6/128GB.

Faizal Firdaus, 25 Feb 2018I feel Nokia 8 should have got 18:9 screen which is the current trend...It's not because it's "a trend" that the trend is a "good" trend.
In the case of 18:9 aspect ratios it isn't. The camera usually doesn't take photo's or videos in that aspect ratio, viewing movies have ugly bars and screen-casting show again ugly bars on TV. These deteriorate the actual sharpness since you don't view at actual pixel-size but at a cropped aspect.
Not to mention the added length makes it very hard to swipe down the notification shade from the top with your thumb during one-handed use.
I find this strange that no reviewer ever mentions these shortcomings of these elongated displays but instead wow at the "new-factor". This seriously undermines the credibility of many review-sites including GA.
You see, I value ergonomics more than ridiculous and useless "trends". In this case I think Nokia should rather pursue their true heritage of improving ergonomics through innovation then pursuing bad marketing trends.

'Bezelless' designs don't fit 16:9 screens at all. It makes the phone look short and fat.

Nokia is probably going the same way as other brands. If Nokia 8 Sirocco costs that much (yes it's overpriced), then what would Nokia 8/9 with the SD845 cost? I mean they are making good phones but they are starting to behave like other brands. Would be nice if they could continue to put a "Nokia 8" price on their flagship/s because they could easily attract more customers. From what we saw with the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia is going the Samsung/Apple way.

Wireless charging is cool though. They should've called this new "8" differently, e.g. Luna.
