This is the most powerful version of s6 edge.

S7 had better camera, a bit more speedy.
S8 had better performance, a bit louder.

S9 is a real phone to swap your s6 edge,
Proper frame rates render per second for QHD+ display.
4K@60fps.
Stereo Speakers
f1.5 is best choice for low light in such sensors and pixel size.
Battery Life is a huge leap from S6 edge.

So, Those who want to buy a Samsung phone, must do it once in three years, which means S, SIII, S6, S9, etc.

AnonD-740004, 25 Feb 2018They didn't reimagined the camera. They just copied features thats already in other smartphone... moreGalaxy S9 has variable aperture, did you ever know any smartphone has this feature?
And of course they reimagined camera, Galaxy S9 3D emoji and super slow mo features are much much better than iPhone X animoji and Sony owns super slow mo, they implement it well, with Samsung 3D emoji you can share it at Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger, what about Apple? It's exclusively on iMessage, and about super slow-mo video thing, Samsung implement it better than Sony just watch any hands-on video on YouTube.

Do you still think they didn't reimagined the camera? Or you don't know what the "Reimagined" means?

Fixes all the shortcomings of the S8(fingerprint reader, speakers) and adds some gimmicks(0.2sec slowmo, ARemojis). More polished than reimagined. I just wish the price would stop climbing. I would really like to get the note 9 this year.

While I loved that they focused on camera, I wasn't impressed that they also focused on a lot of gimmicks. I don't care about slow-mo or emojis, yet that took a third of the whole presentation, Apple-style.

I like that they finally got the stereo speakers, and that the edges are a little more subtle, yet the bezels are the tiniest bit smaller despite both changes.

The Exynos processor is a beast, but North American users are getting a huge disadvantage with the Snapdragon 845 chip. That said, still no phone will be faster.

Overall surely it is by far the most complete package. The bad news is the fact that the progress has slowed down since the S6/S7 era, yet the price increases are way too crazy.

I just hate anything Samsung does. They are like the bullies of smartphones, they copy the innovation of other companies and call it their own, but they get all the credit and attention for everything.
