Kehoe, 04 May 2018There's no OIS, and the EIS is only OK. If you want video, I'd recommend a Samsung phone.thats ok but whats your opnion about sony xperia XZ2 permium phone???
as i need smooth OS,good battery timing along with a feature camera ..??

Camera quality is no where near flagship grade on both the 7 Plus ... moreHow can you say that without testing the real device and both nokia 7 and 8 sirocco is not a flagship device so don't compare them with other flagships. And as said by the zeiss representative at the MWC they are going to do some innovation in camera department in future so the best is yet to come

You guys should really post a panorama pic as well. The functionality of that options on the current crop of OnePlus phones is so laughably bad that I think it's good for consumers to see what the early panoramic output is for all phones.

This is such an incredible camera and most surprising it is a mid range phone.
The pictures are just superb.
The only big missing is the OIS, hopefully a mod of the pixel 2 camera will be ported :P

Pixel's software algorithm is doing a great job and camera hardware is also good but considering the price point and build quality i think nokia is better cause in bending test pixel failed last year

Seems decent enough for casual photography. I hope there will be updates in the future regarding the Camera app. Nokia/HMD still has a lot to learn again.
I still remember the quality of 2MP camera on Nokia 5320 XM in the past. It was good compared to later 2MP cameras.

What I'm most curious about is whether it has some kind of image-stacking algorithm ala Google's HDR+.
That's been the true game changer for smartphone photography.
