Hi Guys, What do they mean by "no customizations and home-brewed UIs" Does this mean no more "Launchers" I'd bt stuck with the ugly Samsung UI? Lol. Man it's ugly compared to the modded version.

Ice cream sandwich, how clever! I wonder what they will name their android OS after they release Zebra sliced waffle. Google will run out of letters, if they ever get there, I mean...

Well its good that this update can take the full use of the dual-cores but I don't think that it would be cool that every single Android handset will look the same. Customized UI's make the unique which is why there is a much difference in company. They make it to suit the mobile design and style. If they do this it then it won't matter much that which company you buy they all will be the same and UI customization also helps to increase the benchmarks and performance like the Xperia Arc it is faster then some handsets which have the same hardware and gingerbread 2.3. Well I think it would be a negative point for Android OS. I know that the developer community would still customize it but most of us want the Official custom UI's.

Anybody else think that this should be "Android 5.0"? Like Winamp, they're taking the best of v2 and v3 for the next big release - 2+3 = 5! :--D

They feel the heat of iOS 5 and WP7 Mango releases, so maybe they are doing this because the don't wanna lost ground in OS Market.

Maybe they know something we ignore about the next OS releases. Maybe Market can change...

There will be a lots of maybes in the next weeks.. :D
