Also; canon's colors, codecs, interface and a couple of other less important factors are considerable choices. Personally, I'd rather get canon with worst "specs" for the same price as a sony; I simply don't like the look.

Also quite poor timing with sony's introduction of premium dual camera and isp for phones(hopefully XZ2P). When you throw away 999 for a phone, try to buy camera then...

Mission impossible to beat Sony for price/quality. a5000(also others from sony) is clear winner - also way cheaper. At least I couldn't find anything better.
