Samesung, 27 Feb 2018They should have named it galaxy 8+1iPhone 6ssss
That should sum up all majority views for S9/S9+

If you go to Samsung's official website, you can see that the pricing for the Galaxy S9 starts at $719 which is $210 cheaper than the Note 8!
Samesung, 27 Feb 2018They should have named it galaxy 8+1so the S7 should be called S6+1, and the S4 should be called S3+1 according to your sense...
Onyxia, 27 Feb 2018Considering the fact that the Galaxy S9/S9+ is cheaper than their predecessor at lauch (starti... moreHoped to have that feature too. Just learn to live with it. it's the first SMARTPHONE with two options for Aperture. (I know the N86 had it too. but it wasn't exactly a smart-phone as we know it today)
and a motorola phone 'ad it too. (don't remember which model though)
New design, dual cam in smaller sibling and better Bixby(more languages supported) would help a lot. Besides that, expecting and waiting for next years coming of 5G, 10th galaxy X or maybe even bended series this year wont help much. That to say, camera is updated so they can expect a Bit more, a bit.
S9 is a good phone, with one massive flaw: It has the exact same price as Note 8. Right now, I can pre-order a Galaxy S9 (not S9+) or a Galaxy Note 8 for the same money. Why would I skip the Note 8?

I feel there's gonna be more upgrades from the S7 to the S9 rather than from the S8
I'd be happier if I could get the grey one. Best looking, by far. I'm interested to see what the marketing push is. I nearly pre ordered the S9+ last night. But the prices are a little to high for me. That said, Samsung does do 0% financing.
Dreamer you stupid little Dreamer, good words for a company that is acting like Apple and love ripping people off, people will not be able to buy the future S9 models, and will look elsewhere for a more affordable phone, Why buy a phone because of a camera update when the future S10 will offer a lot better phone and more functions,Samsung have really disappointed a lot of people by Overpricing there S9 models

This is a great thing to have on a smartphone! You can now change between f2.4 and f1.5 aperture(which is the brightest on a smartphone ever), while other smartphones are stuck with a fixed aperture.
Sometimes, I think people like you just HAVE to find a weakness of a product just to hate on them.

Will not look to upgrade until next year. The S9 looks the bees Knees but I just don't have that urge to get the latest 'thing' this time. Quite content.
Considering that the S9 is just a bit better than the S8, I highly doubt it. Plus the price on the S8 should go down so many people will get the S8/S8+ instead.
It seems that 2018 isn't such a great year for Samsung and Sony so far..
Samsung should :
- focus more on updates (including older flagships) (there's no point in paying so much for outdated software)
Sony should :
- fire their idiot designer for this year's lineup and bring back monolithic design people loved Sony for including myself. (the new design is a horrible remake of the Xperia ZR)
- bring back the 3.5mm jack!
Sammy fans, pray for the Jack! It seems you'll be next. Everyone is ditching it.. :(
I believe in Samsung's marketing strategy but I too think that the S9 isnt going to sell more than the S8 last year, primary reason being the price. It's expensive. If you have an S8 or S8+ why spend more money on a phone that looks almost the same? Also, if you really want a good camera, you can buy A REAL ONE, for a CHEAPER price.
Even though I think Samsung has done great new features for the S9, its not anything we haven't already seen on other phones. It's not as ground breaking and revolutionary as Samsung believes it to be. Over all, I'd still say, stick to your phone now and just wait for the S10 anniversary edition.
