Almost every known Chinese-made phone will get the notch or the vertically rear dual camera design. They're desperately good at copying the iPhone's design. Most long-time Android users preferred Samsung, Sony, LG or HTC because of their own company's design.

Why do companies think the notch is a good idea? Can't we have regular 18:9 aspect ratio phones? What's wrong with the OP5T design?
Apple has this weird halo effect. Whatever they do, other people start jumping in the same trends. A clear example of this was the introduction of the gold colour iPhone 5s. As soon as that was introduced, other companies jumped on the gold coloured phones bandwagon.
Then the iPhone X camera placement and the notch. Both, the zenfone 5 and redmi note 5 pro have borrowed design elements from the X.

if this is indeed the real picture of the upcoming OP6, then goodbye ONE PLUS. the company which tells everyone to never settle is settling on a piece of shit design by another shitty company!! VIVO is doing way better. For GOD's sake, please keep the bezels rather than giving in to the "NOTCH" hype.

To you phone nerds out there: if you really think you are the majority, why is the notch even more prevalent now? I was told it would die with the iPhone.

Looks promising, though it means that all 2018 flagships are gonna go 18:9 with notch at the top of screen (copying iphone X), Dual cameras, fingerprint scanner at back/Face unlock and SD845, wireless charging.

That's it 2018 is gonna be more of this no new innovation. Design wise this looks to an end in the Smartphone industries further improvements will only be hardware related. Reply if you agree.
Peace..

Damm u apple, making stupid think become popular. First the 3.5mm jack removal, now the stupid notch. To other manufacturer, copy the good part please, not the bad part.

Iphone's notch is limitation, not a feature. Even apple knows that. But these manufacturers idiotly embrace that limitation.
