These companies is giving me some headaches.
Copying the design of the other brand then mocking that brand in front of a crowd.
How shameless T.T
The phone that looks like an Asus on the back and "fruitish" on the front XD
Don't get me wrong, I love ASUS, but I hate the notch.
Sweet Jesus, it starts with stupid 2.5D thick glass, which looking thru this one is like looking on display thru the aquarium tank... next step - rounded sides and final highlight is display cut and position of cameras... sh*t, why everyone must coppied disgusting Apple? ... Android producers havent pride to their own opinion?...
I don't like the phones with notch in the middle, or back fingerprint sensor, but the price for the 5Z is really good for what it offers starting with 479 euros, it has stereo speakers, OIS/EIS, 1.8 aperture, audio jack (Sony!!!!), radio FM (Samsung!!!), etc. Really good price and depending of the price the 5 could crush the market too. What OP and Xiaomi will do?
I hope that Xiaomi could offer us all that with a more nicer and traditional design for my taste and similar price or even lower, I don't like the leaks of OP 6 for now. But if nothing better arrives till June in specs/price i could resign myself with the 5Z and add it to my phones pool.
Hoffmann, 27 Feb 2018Yeah, making fun of Apple on live stage, while copying 98% of its design. How genious !No, that is 100% all day long.
I will get this phone no matter what! Not because of how it looks, but because of the specs and trust on ASUS on how they take care of their customers.
It really looks like a cheap version of iPhone X, or rather a fake iPhone. The spec and the price is Good tho
LG superfan, 27 Feb 2018Fruit Phone X lol. I guess we have to accept that notch is the futuregoogle is already working on android to embrace that area..so unfortunately yes.
on apple we programmers have already to make apps to count with the notch. starting in april they will be refused if not prepared for it. if the implementation is like asus implementation or even better i dont mind..if it's like iphone, i will stick with my phone for a longggg time....
LG superfan, 27 Feb 2018Fruit Phone X lol. I guess we have to accept that notch is the futureFuture for the fruit company, good to see them going down. Notch is basically…stupid
OMG Why is everyday bashing ASUS? They have done a great job this time. This is the first time I am seeing ASUS doing a commendable job. The specs, the design, (I hate the ZenUI though), the pricing of Zenfone 5z is too good.
I am waiting for the price of Zenfone 5 and lite.
Whackcar, 27 Feb 2018The majority of users hate the notch. It's just stupid to copy that on Androids. Asus is a dec... morethose majority doesn't even bother to check asus product these days. those majority most likely use a 1+ or samsung or iphone or xiaomi
it's weird though they downgrade from 660 last year to 636 even though there's 2 version in last year model (630 and 660) and i also notice there's no OIS in the main camera
now we need the price for the basic model hoping it can be around the zenfone 3 release price
Whackcar, 27 Feb 2018The majority of users hate the notch. It's just stupid to copy that on Androids. Asus is a dec... moredid you see asus implementation of the notch? its hidden by software when you dont need it with a black bar so it will not distract you. videos will not go to notch area.. i hate notchs in any phone but asus implementation is less worst than the others...most of the time will be hidden thats why 19:9 ratio. they just made the notch so they could say they have 90% of screen ratio...nothing more...marketing people...
Fruit Phone X lol. I guess we have to accept that notch is the future
Price of the base No Z variant is missing.
"AI ringtone" so... what makes it not only automatic based en ambient volume, but Intelligent? it hears that you are discussing nonsense with your friends and sounds louder, and senses when you are in a work discussion with your boss and lowers the volume?
The majority of users hate the notch. It's just stupid to copy that on Androids. Asus is a decent company, but they made a wrong move here.
