They had the XA1 Ultra for 64GB internal storage version, they only sold 32GB in the US stores like Best Buy. I had to get an international version online to get 64GB, which was in Spain and other European markets, and the market pricing was better!
That is a significate note to take. Because of Sony's side power+fingerprint in non-US market, people opt to buy the international version. Now they can see the numbers shift of those wanting the US 6GB RAM version.
Nice job SONY,,, some extra RAM for peeps who aLways complain about specs.
Effectively leaving EU fans at a disadvantage. Like always
Why do manufacturers have region dependent specs
The old design was much better than this one, flat back and side mounted fingerprint sensor.
How about just giving everybody everywhere 6GB of RAM, I don't know why so many manufacturers do this. I don't want to blame Sony alone here, they just followed what others started. I also think it is useless that the smaller iPhones get less RAM.
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2018i'll never quite understand why regionally different specs are a thing with phonesTo keep it competitive in certain regions that have smartphone that are priced similar but offer more than Sony Xperia xz2
That's just for people complaining that "It has not enough RAM" even though we perfectly know that 4GB is clearly enough on a Sony phone!

4 GB is more than enough for me. I wouldn't mind being 'stuck' with that!
Canada-Fr page of XZ2 says 4GB of RAM.
So, you can change the system language and change the RAM capacity? Neat, they invented RAM-On-Demand (TM)
