Huawei is not that stupid.still in the denial stage :p if apple makes it, android OEM follows it, removal of headphone jack, non removable battery, metal frame, animoji...
i wonder why nobody followed the iris scanner of samsung, while when face id was release oneplus 5 updated their software to have face id, while google released face unlock way back, nobody "copied" it

Maybe not for all of their models, but multiple, that's for sure. All Android manufacturers are insane. Apple are just evil, but not insane as none of their moves seems to piss off their customers and benefits Apple instead.

After all of this, what can I say? It seems that in 2018 majority of phones have top-notch designs (pun rather intended). I'm hoping for a foldable screen to come into fruitition. That way we could have the clamshell form factor back, and the design will varies again just like the good 'ol days.

Now, if Apple somehow "invents" that technology somewhere around next year, then other phone manufacturers are sure to follow, because that's what they do right? Copy what Apple does, except most likely for Samsung who would either stay with their infinity display or release the rumored folding phone as their 10th anniversary phone.
Anyway, this year.. its all about the "notch" and the removal of 3.5mm jack.. so its best you just sit out and skip phones this year.

People really hate bezels for some reason.. but man, surely we'd prefer that over the notch.

notch is stupid but LG, ASUS, Huawei, Oneplus... are now using it on their design, and people say the notch is stupid :LOL:
the next version of android is rumored to support units with a notch, so google is encouraging the notch.
for the notch haters you have probably until next year before all android OEM will have a notch on their phone, by that time android users will say our notch is better "LLLOOOLLL"

Notch stupidity. At least we can see which company do not have enough self-confidence. Like that phase where all lame OEMs removed the jack just to look like Apple. Welp, I know my next device won't be Huawei (also because there are no carrier with their phones, except the GR5W and the P10)
