Just like back in 2016 when all three phones LG G5, Galaxy S7 and Xiaomi's Mi 5 had the Snapdragon 820 chip and Mi 5 was the fastest out of the three by far. Right now even though Mi MIX on the old 821 chip is like a year and half old it is still clocking in faster times than Samsung's Note 8 and Apple's iPhone X. Guess that's why Mi Phones are in museums and winning design of the year awards and these guys are sitting on store shelves. (and getting their production cut in half this year)

MIUI 9.1 was... moreMe and my wife use Mi5, for almost 2 years.. theres no problem, still smooth and faster than anything midrange phone from 2017-2018 (because UFS/SOC and modem).. and no need to upgrade to get "bokeh" effect,
And even when those upgraded to 9.2.1.0, there is no hiccup..
Vibrant xiaomi community is a plus than nokia...

I do hope they go with that tiny corner notch and not be a copycat like a lot of chinese brands. I don't get it why manufacturers copy that lame asz notch, when they don't even have the hardware to justify that notch.

MIUI 9 is great, simple, yet with a lot of useful staff in ui. Maybe you device is broken, but warranty is for that.

I don't think they'll be launching it with the corner notch, rather the design will remain same given the naming 2s... If there was any major change, the device would have been named 3.
