OmniBalance is..!?? It's better:
WAS LEGENDARY DESIGN LANGUAGE..it's gone

Its a ma... moreomg i loved my xpera ray (then it fell in a swimming pool lol) :very light, angular sports design, looks very professional.
Do agree Sony had very strong design identity back then. the new series just look like generic phones.
You had your awesome design by shedding some bezels of omnibalance design. Instead you went with this crap. Good luck staying afloat.
Ambient Flow is a shity design, every 100 bucks chinese noname phone have bulky curve back. GJ Sony designers :)))
From amazing design with soul and unique style to another slabs of curved glass...
Its a matter of looking at phones like Xperia Arc, Xperia Ray or older devices like Satio or original X1.
They had design that had unique style thanks to lines and curved, different colors. Back then they didnt afraid to make small indentation lines to highlight some elements of device, they didnt afraid to make parts of phone non-symmetrical(like side connection in slight angle)
Its seriously sad, that today phones cost more and they use more durable materials and none of companies use this to make unique devices. They all make sandwiches of glass and metal that look the same.
Just imagine Xperia Arc with its curved body made of metal... this device would kiII any competition that just sit and copy each other.
Omnibalance was the best design just looks cooler than most smartphones with bezelless, curved cornered display and rear FPS.
Back to headphone via charger interface adapters from 2007 era?
Wouldnt call that evolution in my book.
Would'nt be surprise if they brought back the XZP design. Just less bezel that's it. SMH.
prevoius design! just trim the bezel at the top and bottom. the most awkward design of sony.. it looks like a copy of other brands like htc
No matter whatever amount of gimmickery Sony do try to post in defence of poor design nay design hara kiri so to speak in their own language, the damage is irrepairably done. Look at the posts it generated in vehement rejection and much disdain. Design is a subjective assessment though this attempt of Sony,s belied every ardent lover. It hurt really to see the good go bad.
I laughed at the sony latest design. that buldge on the back is like faulty battery inside the housing. its super thick by today standard flagship. with the battery capacity barely more than the other flagship, its a big joke! inb4 some sheeps gonna say hey it has 1080 960fps yada yadaa... that has nothing to do with that s2pid design. im for once thought that sony can revive the sony ERICSSON xperia arc design which one of the beautiful smartphone design ive seen.. if not, they better stick to the old xz or x series design which is perfectly fine just shave off some top and bottom bezels.
For me the most beautiful is what they call loop surface. It represents some how the old Sony Ericsson K600. Unfortunately I was never able to understand what is the sense of putting on screen buttons, when it is possible to place capacitive buttons on the bottom bezel. Perhaps this new design allows comfortable handling of the device, but it has its flows. Most of the people I know keep their phones on a desk, table or other flat surface. It is more natural to put a phone to lay with screen up and the curverture on the back doesn't allow the phone to stay stable in such position. Of course this is my opinion. No matter what is the shape of the body, the phones have huge bezels and overall are ugly.
Amazing degrading design - with less features, with front from early 2015 and the back so ugly and disgusting, that it should be erased from history and the designers should commit suicide...
