SD 450, is basically just an underclocked SD625.
In theory it would be even more power efficient.

"both phones will bring HTC’s new premium design to the low end."
And you expect it to be a midrange? do you even read the article? Anyway SND450>=SND625 do your research. just because it has a lower number does not mean it is bad. Even SND660 is better than SND801 because it is newer. duh

Would have been a good midranger from HTC, but I Immediately stopped on the sd450 chipset, that thing heats up like crazy and not as performance-efficient as sd630/35 and (lel) 625.

Too big for me but I have to say, if that is the finish at the bottom of the hand set with the glass / frame taper and speaker set up, it looks beautiful.

My first Android was the Desire, 7.5 years ago. Still working, and is in good condition. For a minute, I thought this was U12 news, I got excited.

HTC needs more battery life on their phones, they keep forgetting that and Samsung and Huawei keep improving it. I had and HTC flagship back in the day (HTC Touch HD) and it ran for 5 years and I was super impressed with the quality. I even overclocked it with a custom OS and it still works. Please HTC optimize your phones better.

sadh, 02 Mar 2018Lol i thought it is just some marketing stuff. Make people assume it is 5” :vis not marketing, its the reality, of course the 5 make people confused but is more closed to the 6 inch.

The new aspect ratio make the things awkward and strange but is like that.

                                    5.99, 6.01, 6.1, 6.2, 6.4 is the trend for the 18:9 aspect ratios.
