vellknown, 07 Sep 2011When will we receive the update in India? Pls let us know id you have any idea.I got my 2.3.4 OTA update day before yesterday in India. It working well for me and touch screen issue and heating problem have gone for now post this upgrade.

Because i don't think Steve Job, or Elop guy or any CEO of phone manufacturer will even knows who we are, they only interested in sells and profits. Therefore, let the fan-boys make fools of themselves and let us wise consumers live as a wise consumers who only buy good products and we feels will give us satisfaction and fit our budget. Salute!

It is actually about upgrading gingerbread 2.3.3 to 2.3.4!

I posted about upgrading my sensation from mV7A before, and I just want to say that there was a software upgrade from 1.35.401.1 to 1.45.401.2 too.
Before this upgrade I had that touch screen issue occasionally and now the phone works perfect (after a day of heavy usage). The death grip issue is really negligible.
I see some fanboys making fun about sensation in some threads but all I can say is that now, seeing it work as it should, I would never trade it for something else (SGS2 included). Looking at overall experience the phone is just great.
And also to mention, I'm not a fan of any manufacturer.

i have a gsm sensation and it says software version 2.3.3 and no updates due....

Hey i have a qs if anyone can answer it would be great. I have just a ordered a sensation from asia unlocked. would i be able to update it as i now live in Denmark ? Not sure about OTA when overseas.

It's got nothing to do with locked or unlocked, it's to do with what the firmware is branded to.
Carriers have specific firmware builds to include their branding, this is what holds up updates as they have to test with included branding.
Unbranded vs branded. Branded can still be unlocked.
