Jeez, is there anyone who still uses this Skype nonsense? Doesn't matter if it supports Android 8.0 or 2.0, nobody cares.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2018With Apple FaceTime & Google Duo that efficient, do we still need Skype?I have never seen anyone use duo. imessage only works on iOS.
700-1000 usd phones might take all the media coverage, but most people cant afford those devices, and theres a huge market for old used flagships exported from developed countries to developing countries.
these old flagships get a new lease of life once resold, and they have old OS versions, so do those cheap chinese phones which are sold new but never updated.
In most developing countries, people dont care about apple or google. they only use google search because thats whats default in their phones and youtube because it has no real alternative. for chatting, its all whatsapp, imo and skype

They already released Skype Lite Bata and I like that because it strips off Skype's cluttered useless functions.

This one may be its official version
