Trump is an idiot which needs to be jailed along with his people then the xiaomi coould finaly shine on US market.
Apple is incompetent company which cannot compete with Xiaomi.
Offering highly expensive devices with buggy and laggy IOS and slowing down older phones via security updates and patches.

Got an MI 5S plus last year its great priced and top performance just can't be matched even with my last phones from Oneplus. Just matched it up with a Amazefit Bip to replace my Pebble Time Steel (RIP as fitbit).. Its nice to see competition like this if I bought the Apple equivalents it would cost twice as much and half the battery life. Only issue, box and manual lacks English.

Sure, they can operate Xiaomi in the United States, but can they establish a loyal following in a mature market? If I can walk into town and enter a Xiaomi store, walk out with a competitively priced device that fits my needs, and come back when I need class leading support, they will gain a hold. However, they need to do this before Nokia decides to not play coy and scavenge the market. I'd want to own a Xiaomi Redmi 5A!

i wouldn't hold my breath for that. if huawei wasn't able to do it, i don't see much chances for xiaomi to do the same. however, i like xiaomi much more than huawei so i'll be wishing them all the luck they need.
