Gaming: a Little edge to Snapdragon but Exynos preforms better

Performance... moreOnly in the section of Installing costum roms. And as Developer. Their compilers are SLIGHTLY more forgiving than Exynos.(that's the developer PoV)
In a user's PoV. Exynos is absulutely way better. I agree with you.

However i am getting a buyback of around 34k for my s8 from samsung india store. In addition to this 6k cashback with hdfc credit card. Thats around 40k of value. I am now seriously thinking of getting the 256gb s9+ to upgrade my s8.

You can still boot a generc ROM image, although some more extensive mods that needs changes in the kernel code might not work untill the kernel source is released as well.

Priced very well
S9+ costs almost equal to Pixel 2XL
The 64GB iPhone X still costs INR 85,000 and 256 GB costs INR 100,000 online.
And regarding the storage, 128 GB variant would have been nice but just a INR 8000 increase in price for 4x the storage is worth it.

That's a great pricing. S9+ is 18k cheaper than iPhone X counterpart. Kudos to Samsung!

So atleast for me 64gb is not enough and 256gb is a overkill.You raise a good point - its very peculiar that these "flagships" come with a hybrid slot for the second SIM, while cheaper A-series and J-series phones from Samsung have a dedicated slot for the second SIM.
