They started designing the bezeless phone a year before Apple. Released it a year before Apple too (mi mix vs iphone x).
They copy them in ui looks. Apple copies them in design though... Moral of the story is that everyone copies everybody... only a fanboy would see only one direction of the arrow.

Euugghh the back panel. What is it made of plastic? This is coming from someone who would pay over $1000 for a plastic phone.

I quite like this corner notch design, selfie cam is a very low priority for me. A centered horizontal main camera would be much preferred to a side vertical though. The phone will be balanced when set down, you're less likely to touch the lens so it will stay cleaner, and you're far less likely to cover it accidentally when taking a shot.
