Dear LG please be original and daring like how you experimented with audio features on the v series. Dont copy this mindless fad of this nonsensical notches. It distracts the users from have a full viewing experience. You can engineer devices better. Do not come up with notches just because some useless market research company you have commisioned has advised copying the fruit phone. Look at Asus at mwc2018. Blatant copying has dented their image of being a innovative manufacturer. Apple creates fake aura around their things more than solid engineering.please be courageous to stick to you solid engineering prowess. Kudos to samsung for retaining the headphone jack. Your G6 and v30 are beautifully engineered device please stay the course.

WTF! not another me too iPhone! I really thought LG would be better than this. If we are truly going the notch route atleast give another take on it like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The G7 is a step back for LG, even if the phone performs well it will be forever plagued by that stupid looking notch. Time to go back to Samsung, I guess.

I didn't go to Android to see it copy the worst of Apple. Copy something useful - like Qi charging! I don't want some ugly bezel in the middle of my screen. I really would, for the like 4cm-squared of screen area it buys me, just lose the notch. It's ugly, it gets in the way, it's stupid.
Apple isn't the design paradigm anymore. They stopped being that when they purged the headphone jack on the basis of a thin phone, only to make you carry extra stuff around outside the phone to make up for the shortcoming.
Do something more like the Mi Mix if that's the direction you wanna take it. Honestly, I really don't mind a bit of bezel, it's really not that bad. Hell, I would carry a weightier phone if it meant major things like a great cam or large battery.
These companies want to sell anorexic models. I'd rather take a fat one and get something useful than something that looks good but has no substance.

I would be disappointed of LG if this were the direction they took with their new flagship. The LG G3 was my first flagship phone. It was very good phone when I first bought one two years after they were introduced. I had to return it, but I bought one a year later. It was a great device, even with its shortcomings. It isn't on my favorite list because it died a month after I used it. Maybe the 801 caused the thermal problems, or perhaps the case I used with it(because of the tiny shape too awkward to use one handed) blocking the airflow, but in my opinion a refurbished LG G3 is a timebomb that will blow a hole in your wallet. Had I bought another phone I would still use that other phone today. I think their best designed phones are the LG Doubleplay, G2, Vu, G5 and X Mach.

You know many Android OEM dont copy Apple, but they refine what Apple do.
For example, Zenfone 5 with tap the triple dots, swipe down the fingerprint to acces the notification is more easier and Zenimoji has better effects expression than iPhone X.

The notch or how the hell is called is not user friendly at all , I couldn't watch a video on youtube on a friends iPhone X because of that horrible and very bad notch yet you guys at Techno Bufallo must be bored or out of ideas or just want to waste your time with something . I think this year every phone will be 95% identical except for the logo on the back . Damn ... never thought the phone industry is going to be this boring and with a lot of nonsens .

LG should go back to the V10's design.The problem with the V10's design is that it can't be made a water resistant device.
I like the design of the phone, but it's not suitable for some 2018 flagship standards.
It may be just me, but I don't like their implementation of secondary screen, unless it is an OLED one where we can achieve pure blacks.
To me, their best design is still the LG G3, followed by LG G4. They only have to refine those and I'll be more than happy.
