How much quantities? Easy to sells a handful of devices in 5 minutes. And as stated in the comments, it is likely that retailers bought a lot of them to resell them. Maybe they even force retailers to buy them during these ''sales'', just to give the illusion of huge success.

When will.you guys understand, sells in 5 minutes to resellers everywhere in taobao, might as well say we shipped that many to the secondary retail market. That's why everything sells in 5 minutes there it's just sellers with 100s of phones in pre-order I can still buy one with a minimum of 500rmb mark-up right now.

It's common to see more expensive price tags in the western world, especially Europe.

If they seek it for that price in western markets it will be a big success too. But us in UK, US and mainland Europe usually get screwed over. Probably will be more like €350 and €420

Just compare Nokia 7 plus out of stock timing with timing of out of stock of Redmi note 5 pro in flipkart, you will be amazed, Redmi note 5 pro takes just 1-2 seconds for out of stock, this timing also include payment process. So you can understand that Mi fans in India beats time to purchase Xiaomi phones.
If you dought me just ask Indian customer, from last three sales Redmi note 5 pro became out of stock in just 1-2 Seconds
