They don't get that most idio....umm i mean iPhone lovers do have an iPhone and the rest do NOT want that, they want the opposite of everything the iPhone is. OnePlus phones have good specs ruined by bad design & mediocre cameras. If they can improve their shortcomings, they'll rule the smartphone market for sure.

The notch seems fine in combination with the 19:9 ratio?
A lot of nasty comments about it, but this still leaves you with a fully functional 18:9 screen without any compromises on the content you watch.
Looks like a logical design decision to me and it's far less annoying than those phones who actually do show video content on the notched part.

Thanks God, I didn't wait for any other flagship of 2018. Just bought a Nokia 8 and honestly, couldn't have been happier. That phone for some strange reason now seems actually the best available flagship in today's times. Also, before convincing myself to get anything "modern", I felt this Nokia 8 is the perfect way to say adios to the good classic 16:9 "normal" screens

You can't really complain about a notch on OP. These Chinese clones sell solely off the publicity of an iPhone. Now even top tier manufacturers like lg seem to be bringing the notch.

HTC failked repeatedly due to lack of 3.5mm jack and yet they kept insisting on removing it. All companies do that. They never acknowledge and fix their mistakes.
