I love OnePlus, but if the 6 looks like that (and if i need to replace my 3T), then Samsung is likely to have my money, instead.

Why the hell are the OEMs adopting the notch design for no reason?? I'd just go and buy iPhone X if I really like the goddamn notch! Just be real and carve out your own design already!

Android OEM's are much stupid than Apple, they knew notch ruins the design, still copying apple's stupid idea. sigh...

[deleted post]Do you see China phones suddenly having notch when those phones release? NO.

The trend only exploded when Apple is around.

[deleted post]Second that. But this notch is more similar to iPhone than essential.

[deleted post]Because it is one of the trends iphone started, which is being followed by various companies for the sake of copying them only

[deleted post]No .Tablets were introduced by many other companies to market way before apple. But after the very first iPad every other company stepped into the game. Same as finger print sensor , face id , notch , full metal design , antenna bands like iphones , 2.5d curved glass , vertical arranged rear cameras. Shame on android copy cats. When apple do it , it is pure classy.

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2018Considering LG is also replacing the V series with a notch, this is giving Google a PERFECT ch... moreGoogle only needs to maybe match the likes of Samsung on some specs. They arguably have the best OS experience of any Android device and the design of the Pixel 2 XL is not bad either. I do hope they deliver this year but I have my doubts. I will not be surprised if the OnePlus 6 has a notch and I don’t really care but if LG releases a flagship with a notch then I think a lot of people will be disappointed. I doubt a notch would appeal to the average LG customer.

Well, that's another one to strike off the list.

Pity, because it was a contender. Oh well, ZTE has a new Axon in the works, maybe they'll be the one company to not let me down. I'd very much like to be rid of this Le Max 2, if I can get something nice to replace it.

Seriously, I'm not asking for much, but nobody gets it right:
- Decent->Excellent Cam
- 3K+ mAh battery
5.5"+ (ideally 5.7-6) 1080+ Screen
Latest SD processor (they tend to be the most rootable) or close to
NFC
Qi Wireless
Headphone jack (can make do without)
USB-C
FP scanner. Back, ideally.

Was about to get 5T but thought my Note5 can run easily for the next 6 Months... So was waiting for OP 6 to launch in April/ June... But this is shattering my beliefs... 5T's screen and ratio was perfect... Why a Notch?

Due to that Notch (and Pricing) iPhone X sales were reduced and basically it was not that Loved than it should have been...

"The notch"...can we come up with a better gimmick than that lol? Just sounds like a problem and not a benefit. Then again are we really benefitting with a notch on a phone like this? :D
