No notch is great. But that's the least offensive so far. An under display fingerprint scanner would've been cool though
This is how the notch should be implemented. But i still think the vivo apex's solution to the front cam should be explored deeper.

This notch is very acceptable. I mean who puts video content on that particular space? Now there's a competitor for Vivo Apex as both are piezoelectricity for sounds and of course, they're all-screen with an underscreen finger print scanner. The only difference is that the Vivo Apex has a scanner on half of the screen while I don't know what Xiaomi's scanner is capable of.

If this phone doesn’t have the vertical ‘iPhone X Camera position’ then this would be the most gorgeous phone of 2018. I hope xiaomi will kepp it up and stop copying other’s design, Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2 is the proof that they can make an unique and beautiful design without copying others.

what ? notch in all cases are bad because the upper part of the screen is removed creating a bezel in some cases you have to take apart of the bottom of the screen to keep the balance for example 18:9 becomes 17:9 to keep balance you need 19:9 screen to make it 18:9 so no matter how small is the notch it is still a bezel
