For me it made this phone perfect, this was the update i waited for since i got it since it felt kinda sluggish at times even after a hard reset.

Shittiest software is samsung's strength. No oreo in s8 in australia, useless updates and queuing by region.

Most people complain about bugs, battery drainage and lag post major updates....android or ios....why are people still obsessed about updates? There is an old saying ‘if it aint broken why fix it’
Tech companies have mass hypnotised consumers into this ‘latest version’ game. However most people end up changing their device either because their phones have slowed down or they unable to get the latest os.
Its a race where the consumer is never gonna win coz its rigged.

Of course people would get mad when some mid range phones get updates every month and people are paying lots of cash on s and note series. It shows support like feedback when you get updates even you don't want to update your phone.

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2018looks like some sam-fan tries to explain it's not that big deal not to get latest android. B... more1. Premium Phone doesn't need to be on the latest OS. It just needs to have features on par with latest OS.
                                2. Samsung takes lot of time because its 'skin' already has features which the new OS is bringing. Picture-in-picture, Split screen, App badges and even enhanced Screenshots(Going to debut in Android P) have been there since marshmallow in Samsung devices.
                                3. I'll agree on duplicate apps and optimization part. Samsung really needs to work on that.

sopo, 09 Mar 2018Reading this on my xperia x performance fird android phone with oreo since december 2017Have had Oreo since late October 2017 - Sony XZ Premium.
Samsung may make premium build phones (S and Note line), but their updates are just good, not premium at all..
Instead of flooding the market with garbage quality phones (low and mid-range phones that nobody wants), they should focus on having PREMIUM updates to justify the premium price.
Those features users cling on to justify the lazy AF updates are mostly bloatware that i'd personally delete/disable from day 1.
