J o m s, 08 Mar 2018Cool so if you leave your PC, anyone can export your whole damn passwords?In Firefox, you can set up a master passwort. You have to enter the master password ot access passwords. You also can use the master passwort to protect the passwords from exporting them with Password Exporter addon (yes, Firefox can export/import passwords for 10+ years).

The option to export passwords has been there for a few versions now, literally tested yesterday with 64 and 65.
For those peeps, who think somebody can just export the passwords while the owner is away... Chrome asked me for my Windows login credentials when exporting, so that must tell you something.

Already can today. Go to settings > look up the password setting. You can see all your saved passwords in *plain text!*

I'm back on Firefox now.

for all those who still using google sync for passwords, time to switch to LastPass. export option will be quite a threat with all extensions, or malwares on your pc.
