S8 was winning them all over last year and it's the worst selling S phone since S1. Similarly Sony do win such "prizes", problem is that their phones is sh** and their mobile department is in red for years.
Simply ignore those polls. They tell nothing about the market or the product. It simply says which community has the loudest fanboys. Which is a rather boring information for us regular folk.
I mean S9 can win a million fake awards, by the end of the day it will sell even less than S8. It will achieve a new negative record...

Well now last week's weekly poll result is out. What's this week's poll? Let me guess.... a poll about NOTCH, whether yay or nay? 90% phones announced post-MWC have notches and it's been a rage among geeks in the net.

What didn't work out for Sony was the removal of headphone jack, and to a far lesser extent, the design.

This MWC was disappointing to say the least. Asus is promising with that price but then there is that notch which I personally don't care about but isn't sitting well with most folks. Samsung won cause of large number of fans not because it is a great phone.

Asus is trash, Nokia 8 Sirocco is nothing special, Sony's are great but nothing special and S9 too. Aside from the better processor or the XZ2s, Asus and S9, what on earth does these offer that would crush the V30 to dust.
Camera? You kidding me. Even if the S9 is better, that wouldn't really make a difference from the V30s.
