Its all right... Instead of fuming around so much.. Note that s9 is small enough that probably 4gb is enough to use its contents to max.. For example you are more inclined to game on a larger s9+ rather than the small one.. And 4gb in itself is more than enough for regular use.. There was a difference between s7 and s7 edge.. As in the edge screen.. Will you guys have complained that if you needed the curved screen you needed to buy the larger phone? Its a spec choice.. 17 inch laptops have 2 hdd and 2 ssd bays, 15 inch ones make do with one each.. Blame physics
Anonymous, 11 Mar 2018There are better phones on both though... I mean why should one buy Samsung at this point is ... moreSimple. It provides the most powerful RAW SoC in the android Realm. I have an iPhone from work. And frankly. I hate it. (I need to work with it though. >.>) and as developer I know how to utilise the power it has. BUT ANYHOW. Back for the issue. I have it because it has everything I need.
Why do they have the plus at all? Just make 6" S9 and 6.4" Note9 should be enough.
Samsung made a huge mistake. Last year, the S8+ only had two differences from the S8- battery size and screen size. If people bought the S8+ they would only get a bigger screen and that was it. While there was a larger battery in the S8+ it was because the phone was bigger all around and it wouldn't make sense to use small battery from S8 when there was more space to use in the phone.
Now, they changed the definition of plus. Now S9+ has dual camera and more RAM than the "slower" S9. This is anti-consumer practice. Now if anyone buys S9, they will know it is automatically inferior to the S9+
In short, tolerate a bigger, heavier phone, just so that you can get telephoto camera and bigger battery.
I don't like it. We get flagships so we can get it all... Then why compromise?
There sizes is so similar that it makes S9+ much better choice.
If Samsung Galaxy S9 was around 5 inches or let say smaller than 140 x 68 x 7.6 then I would say that there is really good difference in sizes that people should consider it, other than that, I don't think S9 has much of a chance in front of 9+
Anonymous, 11 Mar 2018where is no galaxy option ?? Samsung means - primitive android, security update after 3/4 mo... moreThe question is "Which of the S9 or S9+ is better". "No" is not a valid answer
The S9 gives a modest improvement over the S7 and S8.
However, the S9+ is much better for two reasons:
- firstly, it has a much larger battery and battery life
- secondly, the screen is a better size (around 5.7in relative to 16:9 ratio)
This is also the case with the iPhone Plus models.
And people are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for those two improvements. The extra RAM and dual-camera's are merely bonuses. In fact, most people don't care about the S Pen either, so the Note8 and Note9 are moot-points.
Anonymous, 11 Mar 2018where is no galaxy option ?? Samsung means - primitive android, security update after 3/4 mo... moresecurity update, well not anymore it's late on the s series. you said childish theme, but that's a mere preferences, no need to force it down other's throat. eventual-lags? well, not anymore bro
where is no galaxy option ??
Samsung means - primitive android, security update after 3/4 months, childish theme, and eventual-lags. So give option not to choose Samsung :-)

(Yes it is still bad, but it's the early buyers' price)
Kiyasuriin, 11 Mar 2018I value pocketability+Preformance so S9 for me (proud owner of one. ^^)There are better phones on both though...
I mean why should one buy Samsung at this point is beyond me. Gone are the days that they repsented the bleeding edge. Now you have companies like Huawei, Xiaomi, even Apple for that ... it's sad but true. There is areversal going on.
