[deleted post]That it actualy Vigo not Vigor but Vigor is the name of a portuguese milk brand...funny?You decide
PattyB, 16 Aug 2011Picture and info of HTC Vigor is a fake...And you know this how exactely?
I do not agree that a ladies phone should have less functionality and power than a regular phone. Who made that stereotypical decision?
Vigor: msm8960 or msm8660 cpu?
Msm8660 = sensation (modifed a8 + adreno 220) but msm8960 = modifed cortex a15 + adreno 225.
Need find that benchmark.
Powercell Comment
As most any power user or mobile warrior will concur battery life mostly sucks for now. Powercell technology hasn't kept pace so most of "us" at initial purchase acquire a second powercell. In comparison to the device cost adding a 2nd battery to the outlay doesnt "hurt" that much.
The same was true years back when notebooks/laptops arrived on the InfoTech scene. They improved over time and so shall mobile networked device powercells. If I chose a device based upon battery life alone I'd likely still be using a symbian based feature phone. No thanks....
Besides, getting the chance to possibly overclock and customize a 1.5ghz duocore outweighs having to keep a 2nd powercell handy.

micmackmhoo, 16 Aug 2011I love HTC hand sets and sense UI. But don't know if I can put up with the abominable battery ... moreTrue true, they could built a nasty little superphone that can run out juice just when we need it the most (i.e when we want to kill time).
How much do you want to bet both phones will still have a poor battery. They need at least 1650 mAh or better.
As a women who like Tech i think these phones are crap sorry i want all the bells a whistles are we still living in an age that we have to have a womens phone, because as a women i cant handle a big boys phone. let me guess there is going to be a pink version. sorry Dual core baby i dont want a ladies phone just like i dont want to play suzie hairshop i want to play samuari vegenance and kick some butt. and guess what if a phone dont fit into my handbag i will buy a bag where it will.

A ladies phone would need a better camera
