Yep so desperate that they aimed at the mid-end to low-end market for sales revenue, clearly because people buying low-end to mid-end are the easiest to get attracted to the gimmicks...

Make the phone's "chin" bezelless then we talk about liking the notch. The notch is an acceptable workaround on a limitation that we can't make it allscreen without sacrificing estate space for the camera.
The iPhone one is acceptable because it houses a state-of-the-art Selfie camera that does Animoji better than Samsung's AR Emoji. It's also Allscreen too.
The Android ones should have make it smaller like the Essential PH-1 because we only needed the camera hole and the speaker and receiver can be taken care of by putting it on the frame just like Mi Mix 2. I find it unacceptable for a Android Notch-phone to still have bezels on the bottom and empty space on the notch.

would we like the notch ....... NEVER not because it is copied from Apple ( which it is ) but because it is useless in the end no matter how small it well become a bezel the sides of the notch well be turned off and become a bezel it is more like an adjustable notefaction LED lamp not just that but the ,bezeless, phone has a lower bezel why ? to keep balance between the upper and lower bezel
so for brands how wants to make a ,bezelees, phone dont bather without removing the selfe camera ( or flip the front camera to the back like honor 7i or puting it inside the the device like vivo ) no matter how small is the notch/bezel it is still a bezel

Embrace the notch, u cant stop it. Even next Android P have support for the notch, google push these manufacturers to add notch. And Notch created first in Android Essential phone. Stop spreading about stole iphone x design, sheeshh.
