They honestly need to drop dead for this. Its not even worth the regular asking price, what makes them think people are going to drop that much on this?

A coating is not the real thing, just a minuscule pinch of it. Take off the whole back glass completely and replace it with a 100% gold plate sealing it back in and then we can start talking about the "real thing".

Sooner or later that AMOLED panel will suffer from screen burn in, who wants a gold iPhone X knowing that the phone will not last for 5 years.
