so no need give new update , no need give new feature . they can do it by itself ~

A lot more checks and balances are needed to be done for Android. I guess they figured why make people wait when it was ready.

1- My eyes don't have to suffer & burn from the bright white light whenever especially at night.
2- A dark theme/background/wallpaper reduces battery drain.

It's harder to do this to Android apps as the OS is much more fragmented and inconsistent across devices.
