AnonD-510098, 15 Mar 2018The win will go to Huawei then, because each year, they end up with the best chipsetWhen they are releasing their 'flagship' SoC at the end of each year (~november) , it would be really bad if they didn't have "the fastest" of the year..
Considering then Qualcomm releases 835 / 845 etc, in shipping devices, in March of each year. So yeah.. moot point.
AnonD-704307, 15 Mar 2018maybe you should start reading at all instead of giving an automated response I am. This is an inane arguement. GDI. we both agree that with the hardware stuff "more is merrier". But software REGARDLESS need optimisation even if it has the most powerful comoonents. As you said yourself(on an exaggaration from my side ofc), even 1Brontobyte (2×10^90) is not enough if the software as ram leakage. Which is why zoptimisation is a must.

But as of right now the Exynos CPU is the one to beat. And at the end of the year like someone else said the A12 will be the CPU to beat not Kirin 980.
Kirin has never beat Apple in terms of CPU and they come out near enough the same time of the year. :D
AnonD-743635, 14 Mar 2018Yeah, it probably will catch up to the 845, in October.Kirin typically destroys Qualcomm. Reason is that Qualcomm is modem company that pretends to be a SoC company. No wonder it is 1-2 years behind Apple in cpu performance and trailing even in gpu performance...

I read lots of apps are being forced closed due to the "clever" A... moreIf emui user 'clever' enough, it has an option to turn off that force app close. Emui just make it default as battery saver, not AI related. AI is more sophisticated than that, it learns everyday base on your daily usage, optimise it automatically, direct translation, etc. True, Mate 10 battery bigger than S8, S8 got 3000mah, Mate 10 4000mah. But in real sequence, Mate 10 has double the life compare to S8 as S8 use 6000mah battery. That only can be achieve because of that AI enhancement. Hard to explain, but once use a phone with this AI for a few month, u'll know it works.
