Ive had the U11+ 6GB Translucent version since release, I don't know what you guys mean by battery optimization. The battery easy last me 48hrs of more with over 7hrs screen on time. I can agree with everyone though, the U Sonic ear buds that it comes with destroys anything and I do have headphones worth 300 bucks from VModa and Audio Technica.

Gibby , 16 Mar 2018I agree - HTC have made the right decision by not introducing a notch. Looks good all round. ... moreamoled screens have better blacks but worst whites، also they have no battery advantage over ips in general use, also they are better in sunlight, and if you use a lot of whatsapp(telegram, instagram ....) which your upside of screen has a constant color and theme then you will experience shadow tints in your screens(true for S7, S8 and a7 2016 in my experience-you can go see for youself)oleds work cooler.

Jonas Petersen, 16 Mar 2018I will take a wild guess here. . Too small battery and no 3.5 mm audio.. Better optimized battery and it comes with the Superior U-Sonic USB-C earphones. I hope they make a U-Sonic USB-C on-ear headphones.

I hope they improve SuperLCD6 and the battery optimizations.

I don't mind not having the 3.5mm jack for HTC because HTC's U-Sonic earphones are better sounding than anything. I hope they make an on-ear headphone out of that.

Considering the darkened photo of the front, it looks like they're trying to hide the fact it's got big old top and bottom bezels like a 2016-2017 phone.
Also I expect it will have another screen that scratches even when touched by a feather.
No headphone jack and a tiny battery that would be dead mid-afternoon.
HTC can do better than this, it's disappointing.

This horizontal set up of cameras is ugly, prefer the vertical one.
Why 3400 battery when u11+ has almost 4000? :(

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2018This is very basic flagship spec, so what is left for the U12 version without the plus bit.845... 6GB of ram... I find it very decent for a flagship actually.
